Begin with a conversation
At Tayo’s Harmony, a kinesiology session begins by talking about what is happening in your life and what feels most important that day. You might have a particular experience you want to explore, or you might find it difficult to put things into words.
The conversation helps shape a personalised session. There is no need to prepare a complete account of your life or decide in advance what every part of the appointment should cover.
Understand muscle monitoring
Tayo describes muscle monitoring as a gentle tool used within her kinesiology practice. It is not a strength test. It forms part of an exploratory approach to discussing patterns, experiences and what you would like support with.
You can ask Tayo to explain a technique before it begins and let her know what feels comfortable. Her published approach emphasises moving gently and working at a pace that feels manageable for the person attending.
Allow time for yourself
The initial kinesiology appointment is 90 minutes, and follow-up appointments are 60 minutes. Check the current session options and fees on this website before booking. Sessions are available in person in Asquith and online; confirm the arrangement you prefer when booking.
If it would help you feel more settled, you could write down one or two questions beforehand and choose comfortable clothes. These are optional suggestions, not preparation requirements. Any follow-up can be discussed with Tayo in relation to your preferences and circumstances.
These guides describe the practice and help you prepare. Holistic Kinesiology and Reiki are complementary wellbeing practices. They do not diagnose or treat medical or mental health conditions, and do not replace professional care.
